Based in Wexford Town our client, a well established accountancy practice with a national profile, is currently seeking an experienced professional to manage and operate the payroll function within the business. This role represents an opportunity for an experienced, confident payroll specialist to work within a forward thinking organisation. The role Managing, processing and delivering weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for a varied portfolio of clients accurately within deadlines. Liaise with clients to collect payroll information, reconcile payroll data, resolve queries, and provide an efficient and professional service. Maintaining support documentation in relation to client's payroll affairs. Manage payroll data including starters, leavers, tax certificates, pensions, and expenses. Maintain excellent record keeping and documentation to support processing activities. Calculate and process benefit in kinds, annual leave, public holidays and other statutory entitlements. Ensure compliance with Revenue in relation to statutory deductions, RPNs, Payroll Submissions, Statements of Account reconciliation and payments, Enhanced Reporting Requirements. Liaising with Revenue on all client payroll matters. Requirements High attention to detail and numerical proficiency are essential. Strong communication and organisational skills, confidentiality, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience working with BrightPay, Thesaurus software or similar payroll packages. IPASS or similar payroll certification desirable but not essential.
