About

I'm currently working on a contract opportunity for a hands-on Data Architect with strong experience designing and delivering large-scale data solutions in Cloudera environments. The role involves leading solution design across enterprise data lake and operational data store platforms (Cloudera on AWS), working closely with business and engineering teams to deliver complex data initiatives within a financial services environment. Key requirements include: Strong Data Architecture and Solution Architecture experience Deep knowledge of Cloudera CDH/CDP (on-prem and cloud) Experience with data lakes, ODS, ETL, and modern data pipelines Expertise in Spark, Kafka, HBase, Cassandra, Airflow and/or NiFi Experience working in complex enterprise environments, ideally financial services This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys owning end-to-end data solutions and influencing architecture strategy while remaining technically involved.
