About

Responsibilities Resolve escalated issues requiring backend/system changes across identity, SaaS, and endpoint platforms Administer core systems including identity management (e.g., AD, Okta), SaaS tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365), and endpoint management solutions Perform system configurations, access management, and controlled changes to maintain system integrity and security Identify root causes of recurring issues and implement fixes to prevent recurrence Support onboarding and offboarding processes through system provisioning and deprovisioning Maintain and update system documentation, including configurations, processes, and procedures Support and troubleshoot network‑related issues within managed systems and elevate infrastructure‑level issues to Operations Contribute to automation and process improvements within managed systems Partner with IT Systems Operations Engineers on escalations, incident follow‑ups, and implementation of system improvements Scope & Boundaries Owns execution within systems, not system design Focuses on platform‑level administration and configuration (identity, SaaS, endpoint), not infrastructure operations Does not define infrastructure architecture or long‑term system strategy Escalates complex, high‑impact, or cross‑system issues to Operations Balances support‑related escalations with system administration responsibilities Does not own infrastructure reliability, monitoring, or system performance outcomes Success Indicators Quality and speed of escalation resolution Reduction in repeat issues through effective root cause resolution within managed systems Accuracy and consistency of system configurations and changes Contributions to automation and process improvements within managed systems, in partnership with Operations Effective collaboration with Help Desk and Operations Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience 2–4 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related role Experience administering identity systems (e.g., Active Directory, Okta) and SaaS platforms (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365) Experience with endpoint management and device provisioning tools (e.g., Jamf, Intune, Airwatch) Strong troubleshooting skills across user, system, and platform‑related issues Familiarity with access management, permissions, and security best practices Experience working with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) Strong documentation, organization, and time‑management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast‑paced environment Strong communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders Experience working within defined systems and processes, with the ability to execute controlled changes Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Compensation & Benefits Pay ranges (USD) vary by location: San Francisco and Seattle: $96,000.00 – $154,000.00; New York: $88,000.00 – $141,000.00; Santa Monica: $80,000.00 – $128,000.00; Other offices: $72,000.00 – $115,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual cash bonuses or commission and annual equity grants for most positions. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance , 401(k) with a company match, an ESPP, unlimited vacation, 13 paid holidays, and 72 hours of sick leave.
