This is an initial 2-month daily rate contract to provide maternity cover, with a strong likelihood of extension due to ongoing project requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced statutory accountant to join a high-performing finance team during a busy reporting period and contribute to several key finance projects.
Key Responsibilities Prepare statutory financial statements in line with relevant accounting standards.
Manage statutory reporting requirements and ensure compliance with regulatory deadlines.
Support the delivery of key finance projects and reporting initiatives.
Liaise with internal stakeholders and external auditors throughout the reporting cycle.
Assist with year-end and month-end reporting activities.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.
Provide support to the wider finance team during a critical reporting period.
About You Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
Strong experience in statutory reporting and the preparation of financial statements.
Excellent knowledge of financial reporting standards and compliance requirements.
Previous experience working within a large organisation or public/semi-state environment is desirable.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Available to start at short notice or within a reasonable notice period.
