About

Build the Future of Healthcare Technology At Oracle Health , we're redefining how clinicians deliver care by building the next generation of cloud-native Electronic Health Records (EHR) . Our mission is simple but impactful: give healthcare providers modern, intelligent applications that improve patient outcomes while reducing administrative burden. We're looking for a hands-on Principal Software Architect who enjoys designing systems as much as building them. This is not a role where you'll spend your days reviewing diagrams—you'll be writing production code, solving complex engineering challenges, and helping shape the technical direction of one of Oracle Health's flagship products. If you're passionate about distributed systems, modern full-stack development, cloud-native architecture, AI-enabled applications, and mentoring engineering teams while remaining deeply technical, we'd love to talk. What You'll Do Architect, design, and build modern cloud-native applications that power Oracle Health's next-generation Electronic Health Record platform. Lead the design of scalable microservices, APIs, distributed systems, and modern user experiences used by clinicians every day. Remain hands-on throughout the development lifecycle, writing production code, reviewing designs, and solving complex technical problems alongside the engineering team. Drive architectural strategy while partnering with Product, UX, Engineering, and Technical Program Management to deliver innovative healthcare solutions. Build modern full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, React, TypeScript, and cloud-native technologies. Design highly available, resilient, and secure systems that operate at enterprise scale. Integrate AI-powered capabilities into healthcare workflows that improve provider productivity and patient care. Mentor engineers, elevate technical standards, and foster a culture of engineering excellence through architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical leadership. Champion modern software engineering practices including CI/CD, observability, automated testing, and infrastructure as code.
