Seeking a remote QA Lead Engineer on a contract basis to drive the quality assurance strategy for a critical identity and access management modernization project, focusing on transitioning to a cloud-based solution while establishing a new QA function and automation framework. Key Responsibilities
Own and manage the QA project scope, driving strategy, process, and execution Design and architect the test automation framework, including tool selection and CI/CD pipeline integration Track and communicate test progress, coverage, and defect metrics to stakeholders
Required Qualifications
Experience in manual QA, including test case design, execution, and defect tracking Demonstrated experience building automation frameworks from scratch Proficiency in Java for writing automation scripts Hands-on experience with browser-based UI test automation tools such as Selenium or Playwright Knowledge of API testing with tools like Postman to validate REST APIs
