Position: CDP (Customer Data Platform) Analyst Location: Offshore (100% Remote) Working hours: According to US-CST hours Duration: Fulltime permanent The Offshore CDP Analyst will support the management, enhancement, and operational excellence of the Customer Data Platform (CDP). This role involves working closely with onshore teams to ensure data ingestion, quality, unification, segmentation, and activation processes run smoothly, enabling effective marketing, operations and sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Data Ingestion & Integration
Monitor and validate data loads from multiple sources (CRM, marketing platforms, web analytics, offline systems) into the CDP; troubleshoot ingestion issues with engineering teams.
Data Quality & Governance
Perform routine data checks for accuracy, completeness, and compliance; maintain key data attributes such as last modified dates and source-of-truth fields.
Identity Resolution
Configure and validate unification/match rules to create accurate golden customer records across multiple identifiers.
Audience Segmentation & Activation
Build and maintain reusable audience segments; validate activations to downstream platforms (ESP, ad tech, CRM).
API Management & Integrations
Configure and manage API connections between CDP and other platforms; troubleshoot integration failures.
Workflow Development
Create and maintain data workflows using Digdag, YAML, or other CDP vendor-specific scripting tools.
Analytics & Reporting
Run queries (SQL/Presto) to investigate data anomalies, generate operational reports, and support ad-hoc analysis requests.
Documentation
Maintain data dictionaries, process documentation, and mapping sheets; contribute to knowledge transfer with the onshore team.
Collaboration
Participate in daily/weekly syncs with onshore counterparts, providing timely updates and delivering tasks within agreed SLAs.
Continuous Improvement
Identify recurring issues, propose automation, and leverage new CDP features to optimize processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
4+ years of hands-on experience with a Customer Data Platform (Treasure Data, Adobe Experience Platform, Tealium Audience Stream, Salesforce Data Cloud, or similar).
Strong knowledge of CDP concepts: data ingestion, API-based integrations, identity resolution, profile unification, segmentation, and activation.
Proficiency in SQL (Presto, BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or similar) for data validation, transformation, and audience building.
Experience in API management and building/maintaining data workflows or pipelines using Digdag, YAML, or equivalent tools.
Familiarity with scripting or programming languages commonly used in CDP environments (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
Understanding of data governance best practices and privacy regulations.
Experience with marketing and sales systems such as Salesforce, ESP, Adobe Campaign, Google Analytics, or ad platforms.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, process documentation, and quality control.
Ability to work effectively in a remote/offshore environment with cross-functional and onshore teams.
Preferred Skills
Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Platform, Tealium Audience Stream, or Salesforce Data Cloud.
Experience with ETL/data pipeline tools and marketing activation APIs.
Exposure to marketing campaign orchestration and personalization workflows.
