EH&S Manager

This person will serve as the EH&S Manager over a 100-person, PSM-regulated manufacturing facility located in the Peru/Ottawa, IL area, along the Illinois River and about 90 minutes southwest of Chicago. This role is open because the incumbent was moved to another position within the company this persons team, right out of the gate, consists of 2 health & safety technicians and 2 environmental specialists, as well as 4 contract security staff. The primary responsibilities for this role will be at this facility, though there may occasionally be responsibilities related to the EH&S network among the 3 manufacturing sites. This role serves on the site leadership team and reports directly to the site manager. Overall, this person will have responsibility for site PSM programming, environmental permitting and regulatory oversight (Title V, RCRA, NPDES, SPCC), site industrial hygiene and ergonomics programming as well as facility security programming. Advancement opportunities for this person will include avenues into multi-site EHS leadership or into operations leadership.
