Providing technical leadership in a remote capacity, the full-time Lead PLC Design Engineer will oversee the design, documentation, and implementation of PLC-based control systems, ensuring quality and consistency across multiple projects. Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of PLC-based control systems, including control panel layouts and network architectures Coordinate with project teams to ensure alignment with project scope, schedule, and technical requirements Perform QA/QC reviews of drawings and documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical Expert-level understanding of PLC-based control systems and industrial networks Strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, UL 508A) 7+ years of experience in controls design or industrial automation
