In this role you will be responsible for managing and providing leadership for a developer tools and quality engineering team, partnered closely with a team that helps deliver on key platform components for Apple Intelligence. You will contribute to our roadmap, platform strategy, resource planning, and own delivery of platforms, services, and support. You should be experienced in making data-driven decisions and exhibit a strong desire to continuously improve developer experience and customer experience that impacts thousands of developers and hundreds of millions of customers. You will foster relationships across Apple and facilitate communication between cross-divisional groups. You should feel comfortable communicating project status to leads and executives, presenting in program sponsorship reviews, and be proficient giving product demos. As an ISE Sr. Engineering Manager, you will help measure and improve the software development lifecycle through direct and indirect leadership. Minimum Qualifications
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent 15+ years of professional engineering experience 10+ years of building and managing engineering teams Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing multiple teams including other managers Passionate about Quality, Automation, and Efficiency Proven track record of delivering infrastructure and developer focused tools and automation Demonstrated ownership of large cross-functional and multi-team projects Direct experience managing project status and expectations with stakeholders Proven technical leadership (including ML experience), hiring, education, and team mentorship Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $267,800 and $442,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
