Description The successful candidate will monitor, maintain, and provide Tier‑2 and Tier‑3 support of a mission‑critical network infrastructure, collect data for analysis, perform network upgrades, and produce documentation and diagrams of the work they perform. The role requires fast‑paced, high‑expectation work with diverse assignments, and the ability to communicate and collaborate across technical levels.
Responsibilities
Provide engineering and administrative support onsite for a team of developers and testers, often deviating from industry standard procedures to meet mission needs while maintaining system security standards.
Work as part of a team to design, build, and maintain AWS and hybrid‑cloud systems.
Administer systems based on Linux and Windows operating systems.
Maintain and troubleshoot IP networking systems for AWS and hybrid‑cloud systems.
Automate system deployment, operation, and maintenance using Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tooling.
Basic Qualifications
US citizen with an active TS clearance with SCI eligibility; ability to obtain a polygraph.
12 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree; 10 years with master’s; 8 years with PhD; or 16 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
IAT‑2 certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+).
Experience designing, deploying, and administering cloud‑based solutions.
Experience with architecture, maintenance, and administration of Linux and Windows operating systems within large enterprise environments.
Experience automating tasks using Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, Puppet, or Python.
Proven experience working within IT systems design, deployment, and administration.
Preferred Qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance with current polygraph.
Cloud service certification (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google).
Experience with one or more programming languages.
Extensive experience designing, deploying, and troubleshooting IPv4 networking, including subnetting, OSPF routing, VLANs, and VPNs.
Recent roles in technical or team leadership positions.
Knowledge of cloud database management (e.g., MySQL RDS, PostgreSQL).
Knowledge of cybersecurity in the context of the cloud.
Comfortable working in an Agile development environment.
Experience managing and manipulating containers (e.g., PODMAN, DOCKER, KUBERNETES).

Primary level salary range: $161,000.00 – $241,400.00. The actual offer will consider scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and market conditions.
