About
Documentation & Communication: • Accurately document outcomes related to resident care, medication administration, behavior, activity, and culinary services. • Communicate changes in condition, behavior, or care needs promptly to the nursing leadership team. • Maintain clear, timely, and consistent communication with team members across shifts. • Ensure all documentation meets regulatory and organizational standards. Team Collaboration & Culture: • Promote and support a positive work environment. • Work closely with nursing, care staff, culinary, and life enrichment teams to support the full resident experience. • Contribute to a culture where care is person-centered, respectful, and relationship-driven. • Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing development. Safety, Compliance & Infection Control: • Maintain confidentiality of all resident and staff health and personal information. • Follow all Peaceful Pines policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations. • Adhere to OSHA and CDC guidelines for infection control and safety practices. • Ensure care is delivered in a safe, clean, and supportive environment. • Recognize and report safety concerns, incidents, or changes in condition promptly. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: • Must successfully pass a background check as a condition of employment. • Must submit to a TB test in accordance with state regulations. • Must comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards. • Must maintain confidentiality of resident and organizational information. • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays. • Ability to respond effectively to resident needs in a timely manner. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Licensed in the state of South Dakota as a Medication Aide (or willingness to complete on-the job training if not currently licensed). • Passion for working with seniors and/or caring for others. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Dependable, team-oriented, and service-minded. • Ability to provide care with patience, empathy, and attention to detail.
