Working within a collaborative, fast-paced environment, you'll play a key role in developing innovative products from concept through to commercial launch, while working alongside Production, Quality and Commercial teams to deliver best-in-class solutions for customers.

- €55,000 depending on experience 20 days annual leave Company pension (following successful completion of probation) Ongoing training and career development opportunities Monday-Friday working hours Opportunity to join a growing, ambitious business with exciting long-term prospects What you'll be doing Develop and formulate innovative beverage and powder products for the sports nutrition and health & wellness markets.
Lead projects from initial concept and laboratory development through to factory scale-up and commercial production.
Carry out product validation activities, including microbiological testing, shelf-life studies, stability assessments and technical risk evaluations.
Work closely with Production, Quality and Procurement teams to ensure products are technically robust, commercially viable and ready for manufacture.
Support factory trials, investigate technical challenges and drive product and process improvements.
Prepare product specifications, technical documentation and maintain accurate development records.
Contribute to HACCP reviews, raw material assessments and product change control activities.
Keep up to date with industry trends, emerging ingredients and regulatory developments to support future product innovation.
Provide technical support to internal teams and customers as required while maintaining high laboratory standards and best practice.
What you'll need Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition or a related scientific discipline.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in new product development within the food, beverage or nutritional supplement manufacturing sector.
Experience developing beverage and/or powder formulations.
Strong understanding of product validation, microbiological risk assessment and shelf-life evaluation.
Knowledge of HACCP, food safety legislation and quality management systems.
Experience supporting factory trials and resolving technical manufacturing challenges.
Excellent planning, organisation and project management skills.
Strong analytical mindset with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team.
