About
*PAINTER QUALIFICATIONS:*
General knowledge requirements:
* Airless spray equipment- how to use, clean & maintain. IE: Graco 395, Graco 695, Titan Impact 840.
* Aerial lift equipment
* Overhead cranes
* PPE, proper use
* Industrial/marine coatings, alkyd oil-based & polyurethane topcoats. IE: PPG Pitthane Ultra, Aliphatic polyurethane.
* Industrial solvents such as M.E.K., xylene, toluene. When to use various types of reducers/thinners and ratios to match conditions with specific products.
* Communicate with management for the inventory of paints & consumables.
Preferred but not required:
* experienced with large scale media blasting using steel grit and/or sand.
* experienced with applying epoxy coatings & holiday testing. IE: Corchem 204, NovaPlate UHS, ect.
Job Types: Contract, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 80 per week
