Roscommon The Financial Analyst supports the Finance & Accounting Manager and works closely with both the Operational Finance and Shared Services teams to deliver accurate financial reporting, analysis, and business insights across multiple sites.
This role plays a key part in month-end reporting, budgeting, forecasting, standard cost analysis, financial compliance, and continuous improvement within a regulated medical-device manufacturing environment.
The position requires strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities: Financial Reporting & Analysis Monthly Inventory Reconciliations for multiple sites Fixed Asset Management including additions, disposals, and depreciation reviews Monthly Variance Analysis across key cost categories Reporting Pack Preparation for local and global finance stakeholders.
KPI Tracking to support operational and financial performance monitoring Cost Improvement Tracking and reporting on efficiency initiatives.
Standard Cost Rolls & Reviews to support accurate product costing.
CSO Returns completed in line with Irish regulatory requirements Budgeting & Forecasting Budget & Forecast Support including data gathering and validation.
Audit, Compliance & Internal Controls Internal Audit Support including documentation and analysis.
Main point of contact for internal and external audit queries.
Compliance Support including internal controls and adherence to company policies.
Operational & Cross Functional Support Cycle Count Process liaise with stakeholders and resolve discrepancies.
Business Partnering with operational teams to provide financial insights.
Participation in site projects and initiatives supporting continuous improvement.
Shared Services Collaboration on standardised reporting, reconciliations, and process alignment.
Skills and Qualifications Professional Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
Minimum 2 years PQE in a financial analyst, management accounting, or similar finance role.
Experience in manufacturing, medical devices, or other regulated industries is an advantage.
Strong proficiency in Excel, financial analysis, and ERP systems (IFS, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
Knowledge of Irish GAAP and/or US GAAP preferred. xyswxtq
