Sr. Project Manager

Qualifications

Minimum:

• 7 years experience managing one or more moderately complex IT product/software development cycles/projects
• Strong verbal and written communication; effective presenter
• Advanced understanding of project management principles and methodologies
• Experience working in a PMO environment as Project Lead or Project Manager on medium to complex projects
• Advanced PM knowledge and technical competence

Desired:

• Experience managing projects for facilities and/or physical security
• Experience managing project for implementing and upgrading collaboration tools (Zoom, Office360, Slack, Box, Lucid)
• Proficient in using Project management tools e.g. Smartsheet, Anaplan
• Understanding of IT roles and responsibilities
• Experience in managing resource plans and resource balancing across projects and programs
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and documentation; utilize critical path and milestone management for effective planning.
• Own responsibility for project deliverables, using established PMO frameworks and project playbooks. If exceptions arise, advocate with sound reasoning to the PMO.
• Diligently maintain and follow up on the RAID log (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions).
• Ensure all project closure steps and documentation are complete.
• Adhere strictly to hybrid work requirements (local, on-site 3 days/week).
• Work closely with technical teams and subject matter experts to ensure proper delivery (not hands-on technical work, but capable of driving technical discussions/deliverables forward).
• 5 years experience managing complex IT projects, proven track record of implementing or upgrading collaboration toolsespecially Zoom, Microsoft 365 (incl. Outlook, Teams, SharePoint), Smartsheet, and Box.
• Familiarity with PM frameworks and terminology (PMP certification is nice to have but not required).
• Has hands-on experience leading projects to implement, upgrade, or roll out collaboration tools, with tangible results instead of just day-to-day user experience of those tools.
