Join Crusoe as an HSE Program Manager and drive the strategic evolution of our corporate health, safety, and environmental standards. In this critical role, you will design, develop, and implement the high-impact HSE procedures and execution guides that protect our people and communities. Serving as a key technical resource, you will act as a bridge between high-level regulatory compliance and real-world operations, collaborating closely with business units to build safer, more sustainable operations across our facilities globally.
This is a full-time position suited for a highly motivated, collaborative leader who thrives in dynamic environments. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in safety management systems, exceptional technical writing skills, and a passion for fostering a strong, proactive organizational safety culture.
What you'll be working on:
- Design, author, and continually optimize comprehensive corporate HSE procedures and policies, including Lockout/Tagout, Hazard Communication, Emergency Response, Contractor Safety, and Environmental Management Systems.
- Create highly practical, user-friendly implementation guides, templates, and field tools that empower site-level teams to adopt and sustain corporate HSE standards seamlessly.
- Track, analyze, and translate emerging global and local HSE regulations, industry trends, and best practices into actionable corporate standards.
- Partner with operations, legal, and executive stakeholders to integrate robust safety protocols directly into daily business processes and operational realities.
- Define, standardize, and maintain the core elements of Crusoe's corporate HSE Management System, including document control frameworks, risk assessment methodologies, and audit protocols.
- Deliver hands-on guidance, technical support, and troubleshooting expertise to business units and field HSE teams during system rollouts and site-level challenges.
- Develop and track sophisticated Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure program execution efficiency, compliance integrity, and overall continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with corporate training teams to build and deploy engaging, standardized HSE training modules for newly introduced procedures.
What you'll bring to the team:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a closely related technical discipline.
- 7+ years of progressive HSE experience, including at least 2 years in a corporate-level role focused on program management, technical procedure writing, and system implementation.
- Exceptional ability to transform complex regulatory codes and technical concepts into clear, concise, and highly operational corporate manuals and guides.
- Strong working knowledge of established HSE management systems such as ISO 45001, ISO 14001, or OSHA VPP.
- Comprehensive command of US OSHA, EPA, and major international HSE legal structures.
- Proven track record of managing and delivering multiple complex program rollouts across distributed team environments simultaneously.
- This position is designated a safety-sensitive position and/or is located in a safety-sensitive facility. Drug and alcohol program participation is required.
Bonus points:
- Master's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, or Industrial Hygiene.
- Professional safety credentials such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Professional Environmental Auditor (CPEA), or ISO 45001/14001 Lead Auditor certification.
- Practical experience administering modern HSE software platforms (EHS-MIS) for automated incident reporting and compliance tracking.

Compensation will be paid in the range of $105,000 - $130,000. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
