About

Role Summary As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will have the opportunity to help Notable continue to rapidly scale our platform and infrastructure. This exciting opportunity will be responsible for designing and implementing the core infrastructure underlying the entire Notable platform. You will have a huge influence on the continuous improvement of our infrastructure reliability and security while addressing the challenges of scale and engineering velocity.
What You’ll Do
Create, implement, and support DevOps strategies and continuous delivery pipelines with our cross-functional agile teams
You will own defining and implementing the appropriate infrastructure, tools, and processes to support the continuous delivery of change, identifying potential issues that prevent the successful delivery of services or solutions
You play a vital role in maturing our organization in continuous delivery and help with implementing the processes to ensure high availability and quality
Design and build the infrastructure to support our existing and upcoming products
Plan for maintainability of the infrastructure and foresee weaknesses in the setup
Identify new technologies where appropriate to improve automation
Document infrastructure setup and best practices
What We’re Looking For
8+ years of relevant work experience
Hands‑on SaaS delivery experience with either AWS or GCP systems including incident response
Experience in automating build, test, package, release, and configuration management
Experience with Terraform
Good understanding of Linux/Unix fundamentals and debugging skills
Strong scripting skills (ability to write in one of Bash, Python, NodeJS, Go, other)
Experience defining and deploying monitoring, metrics, and logging systems
Recent hands‑on experience creating and managing containerized deployments (Kubernetes)
Demonstrable experience with networks, security, load balancers, DNS, etc
Rigor in high‑code quality, automated testing, and other engineering best practices
Location & Remote Policy We value in‑person collaboration and connection. For Bay Area‑based employees, this role requires being in our San Mateo office at least three days a week. For remote employees, occasional travel to headquarters is expected for company‑wide events and onsite gatherings.
