About

Position Overview RJY Group LLC is seeking a results-driven Business Sales Manager to spearhead revenue growth across commercial and industrial markets. This is a high-impact, externally-focused sales role with primary emphasis on the central and mid-west United States - with expansion responsibility extending nationwide. The Business Sales Manager will own the full sales cycle: identifying opportunities, building relationships, developing proposals, and closing contracts across RJY's core service lines - HVAC preventive maintenance and repair, generator services, load bank testing, data center solutions, and large-scale facility maintenance. Key Responsibilities Drive new revenue growth with a primary focus on the central and mid-west U.S. region, with accountability for national expansion over time. Identify, pursue, and close non-governmental contract opportunities across commercial and industrial sectors. Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting HVAC, generator, load bank testing, data center, and facility maintenance services. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities across all target markets. Cultivate lasting relationships with healthcare systems, data centers, commercial property owners, general contractors, and facility managers. Lead client presentations, site visits, and discovery meetings with a consultative sales approach. Own proposal development, pricing strategy, and contract negotiation. Partner with internal operations teams to ensure seamless project handoff and client satisfaction. Report on pipeline status, revenue forecasts, and market intelligence to senior leadership.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. 5+ years of business development or sales experience in commercial services, mechanical contracting, or related industries. Demonstrated knowledge of HVAC systems, standby generator solutions, or data center infrastructure. Proven track record of securing service contracts and long-term service agreements. Self-starter with strong hunter mentality and ability to manage a large geographic territory independently. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales reporting tools.
Territory & Travel Primary Territory: Central and mid-west United States, including Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Colorado, New Mexico, and surrounding states. Expansion Scope: Nationwide, as the role develops and additional markets are identified. Travel Requirement: Frequent travel expected (up to 50%), with home base in the greater Houston, Texas area preferred. Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary commensurate with experience. Performance-based commission and incentive structure tied to revenue growth. Comprehensive benefits package. Mileage/travel reimbursement. Opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding company.
