About
Position Responsibilities
Analyze software requirements and technical specifications to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Execute manual and automated tests to verify functionality, performance, and security.
Identify, document, and track software defects using tracking tools.
Collaborate closely with software engineers to reproduce issues, discuss solutions, and verify fixes.
Perform regression, system, integration, and acceptance testing on new and existing code.
Assist in maintaining and improving test automation frameworks (if applicable).
Generate and communicate detailed test results, status reports, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives and help foster a culture of quality within the engineering team.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
5+ years of related experience
Familiarity with software testing methodologies and defect tracking systems
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail
Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle
Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team
Active TS/SCI with polygraph
Salary Range: $83,500 - $208,750
The AV pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several factors including, but not limited to, level of position, job responsibilities, geographic location, scope of relevant work experience, educational background, certifications, contract‑specific affordability, organizational requirements, alignment with local internal equity as well as alignment with market data.
