Description Provides clinical information management, data collection, analysis and reporting of metrics related to the care of the trauma patient, including financial, clinical and outcome data working closely with the Trauma Program Manager. Preferred qualifications: RHIT, certified coding specialist, (CCS), A.D. with emphasis on anatomy & physiology Current ICD 10 coding experience, PC & Excel & Word experience Previous trauma registry experience AIS coding preferred Cooperative with others, excellent verbal, and written communication skills This position abstracts patient information mostly from EPIC, Medical Examiner Reports, etc., and enters all patient information required into the trauma registry. Maintains daily lists, reports, participates in TEAM mtgs, Interrator Reliability work and continuing education requirements. Why Join Providence? The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
