We are seeking a data-savvy Data Scientist to join an enterprise analytics team. This role uses a consultative approach with business segments to analyze customer, product, channel, and digital data to uncover opportunities for consumer experience optimization and value delivery. The position will enable stakeholders with actionable, intuitive performance insights that provide direction for growth and influence strategic decisions. Key Responsibilities Use advanced analytics methods to extract value from business data. Perform large-scale experimentation and build data-driven models to answer business questions. Conduct research on techniques and tools in machine learning and artificial intelligence. Determine requirements that will be used to train and evolve learning models and algorithms. Influence product teams through the presentation of data-based recommendations. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Education: A Master's degree completed by Spring 2025 in Computer Science, Information Systems, Decision Sciences, Statistics, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a STEM degree. In lieu of a Master's degree, a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of work experience in analytics or data science is required. Experience: Experience with R, RStudio, Python, SAS, SQL, and NoSQL is required. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of machine learning and data analytics tools and techniques. Knowledge in predictive modeling methodology. Experience leveraging both structured and unstructured data sources. Willingness and ability to learn new technologies on the job. Work or educational experience conducting statistical analysis with advanced statistical software, scripting languages, and packages. Work or educational experience with big data analysis tools and techniques. Foundational knowledge of building and deploying predictive models, web scraping, and scalable data pipelines. Understanding of statistical methods such as Bayesian Networks Inference, linear and non-linear regression, and hierarchical mixed models. Experience with Cloud Machine Learning technologies (e.g., AWS Sagemaker). Experience with machine learning environments (e.g., TensorFlow, scikit-learn, caret). A background in Financial Services.
