This position will be working with NAVSEA support contractors in support of Maintenance efforts for Naval Ships, and associated systems and infrastructure. Additionally, this position will directly support NAVSEA PMS 443 and work closely with other contractors supporting Program Integrators and provide regular preparation of documentation and presentations in support of communications with program personnel, contractors, and senior leaders. Primary work location in the Washington, DC area with moderate travel as required.
Establish and maintain effective relationships with customer and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with quality assurance and security requirements.
In this role, you will:
Analyze, validate, and present data for cross-organization processes and policy improvements/initiatives for upgrades and maintenance initiatives.
Monitor maintenance and modernization program objectives, tracking deliverables, and coordinating with technical experts on equipment performance issues.
Conduct data analysis and use of advanced technology to support new equipment installation to display to leadership so they can make informed resourcing decisions.
Provide interoperability engineering, analysis, and technical guidance for maintenance programs and external capability integration and interface design efforts between NAVSEA contractors supporting these efforts.
Support program reviews and recommend improvements to production and programmatic deficiencies.
Provides engineering support and continuous analysis between major ship maintenance periods to ensure they reach their expected service life
Develop and organize briefs for presentation to senior leadership and decision makers
To be successful in this role, you will have:
An active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
A High School Diploma with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
Work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience.
An excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications, specifically MS Excel and PowerPoint is required.
A motivated, self-starter with excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills as demonstrated by previous work experience is required.
A strong customer service orientation is required.
The ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
