The Senior Program Manager will oversee education programs within the Office of Health Information and Data Science (OHIDS), the Institute for Informatics, Data Science & Biostatistics (I2DB) under the Associate Director for Education. Specifically, this role will be responsible for managing the graduate programs including providing a high-quality student experience, maintaining program materials, managing special events, and helping support the program director and faculty. This role is in the Office of Health Information and Data Science (OHIDS). OHIDS includes the Institute for Informatics, Data Science and Biostatistics (I2DB) and Becker Medical Library. This represents an alignment of critical units across WashU Medicine. This person in this role is expected to be in the office an average of three days per week, with in-office days focused on collaboration, strategic planning, student support, and key meetings with leaders and colleagues. Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and oversight for OHIDS graduate programs, which includes supporting the Associate Director, Deputy Director, faculty, and program directors.
- Create and maintain course listings, independent studies, course evaluations/course syllabi for courses. Coordinate waitlist and enrollment limit management. Maintain the placement of courses in classrooms.
- Student Support: Nurture the student relationship from recruitment and admission through graduation. Support students in course selection and registration. Communicate routinely with cross-campus collaborators including the registrar's office, financial aid, and other student and academic support units.
- Faculty/Instructional Support: Assist faculty in the management of courses in Canvas, serving as Canvas administrator. Ensure faculty and TAs have access to relevant templates and other standards for on-ground, hybrid, and online teaching requirements as set by the department.
- Workforce Development: Identify opportunities for professional development workshops, external rotations and outreach activities.
- Coordinate special events graduation, orientation, workshops, etc. - for programs, including marketing, room reservations, set-up and clean-up, logistics, correspondence, etc.
- Attend administrative meetings, course training, regular meetings, events, etc., and disseminate as appropriate to the department.
- Support the efforts to track alumni of graduate programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary Range
$65,900.00 - $112,700.00 / AnnuallyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
