Overview White Cap is hiring immediately for our Account Manager – Accelerated Sales Program . The role is part of White Cap, North America's leading distributor for professional contractors, supplying a wide range of products used in construction projects. Responsibilities Participates in classroom, independent study, and on-the-job training to learn White Cap’s business model, products, vendors, customer needs, jobsite environment, systems, competitors, pricing, sales approach, and selling skills. Prepares and executes account plans. Sells White Cap value proposition and products. Learns about making effective jobsite or office sales calls by riding along with the District Sales Manager or experienced Account Managers. Enters and processes customer orders. Performs other duties as assigned. Uses a company vehicle or a personal vehicle for more than 80% of the work week; an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report is required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field or one to two years of sales or related field experience. Strong communication skills and comfortable interacting with team members. Strong self‑governance, a proactive approach, personal accountability, and independence. Competitive nature with a drive to succeed. Goal‑oriented with personal accountability to deliver on metrics. Open to feedback and willing to take action to improve performance. Demonstrated ability to plan and organize daily activities. Spanish language proficiency. Compensation Pay Range: $50,000 – $80,000. The position’s targeted base salary is $37,000 per year. This role is eligible for additional variable compensation with a starting target of $80,000 per year.
