Job Description:
The Energy Trading Manager reviews trade entries, and profit and loss reports. Ensures trade transactions follow risk management guidelines, and develops follow-up actions after investigating breaches in electricity and market operations. Encourages teamwork between the various departments and other partners. Coaches his/her team members according to their strengths. Reviews the overall training and development plans and the development of portfolio and strategies to ensure that they follow organizational plans. Works in a fast-paced environment, where decisions must be made fast, based on market movements and trends. May have to work in rotating shifts. An analytical, self-motivated, and is able to make good decisions and solve problems. Good leader and is able to direct his/her team to meet profit targets. Very skillful at building rapport with stakeholder
