We accept any age, cultural background and sex, but a passion for any kind of music will definitely help you. Embedded Systems Engineer – Yocto/Linux Location: Modena, Italy. Build and maintain custom Linux Embedded distros using the Yocto Project Configure and tune the Linux kernel with preempt-rt patches for low-latency audio performance Develop, integrate, and set up drivers for in-house embedded platforms Create and maintain BSPs (Board Support Packages) for ARM-based hardware Support the hardware team with integrating new components and peripherals Generate system images, toolchains, and custom Yocto layers Analyze and optimize system performance – reduce jitter, latency, and resource usage Work closely with the application team to ensure audio software compatibility and performance Write clear technical documentation and keep configuration tracking up to date Skills & Experience Solid experience with the Yocto Project (layers, recipes, images, BSPs) Strong knowledge of Linux Embedded and kernel configuration Hands‑on with real‑time systems and preempt-rt patches Familiar with Linux audio subsystems (ALSA, JACK, PipeWire) Experience with ARM architectures (Cortex‑A, Cortex‑M) Basic knowledge of C/C++ and scripting (Bash, Python) Comfortable with embedded debugging tools and Git version control Nice‑to‑Has Background in pro audio or music tech Familiarity with DSP, LV2/VST plugins, or frameworks like JUCE, Pure Data, SuperCollider Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines Knowledge of PipeWire and modern audio routing solutions Analytical mindset and problem‑solving attitude Team player in cross‑functional environments (hardware, firmware, software, DSP) Detail‑oriented, independent, and precise Passion for music, audio, and embedded technologies Quality Manager Define, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (ISO 9001 or other relevant standards) Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements, internal standards, and customer specifications Manage internal and external audits, coordinating preparation and corrective action follow‑up Analyze non‑conformities, customer complaints, and feedback, identifying preventive and corrective actions Establish and monitor quality KPIs, proposing improvement plans Collaborate with production, design, purchasing, and logistics teams to ensure quality throughout the value chain Train and raise awareness among staff on quality and product safety Ensure process traceability and proper documentation management Promote Continuous Improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent) Requirements Technical Diploma in Electronics, degree in Engineering (preferred) Minimum of 3–5 years experience in similar roles within manufacturing or industrial environments In‑depth knowledge of quality regulations (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and industry‑specific standards) Strong skills in process analysis and structured problem solving Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills Knowledge of continuous improvement tools (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma) Good command of English (spoken and written) Soft Skills Strong attention to Hardware Engineer Schematics and multilayer PCB layout design for mixed signal high quality audio devices Audio ADC and DAC stages Experience with recent leading ARM MCU platforms like STM, NXP, etc. Experience with switch power supplies and audio power amplifiers is welcome Experience working with others engineers and mechanical designers Experience in EMC (electrical safety is a welcome plus) with debugging and optimization At least basic knowledge of firmware structures and C/C++ programming; stronger experience is welcome Firmware Engineer 3+ years experience developing embedded firmware Fluent in the C programming language with excellent programming skills Strong understanding of device‑level programming for microcontroller‑based embedded systems Experiences in device driver and into clear customer value Define product positioning and go‑to‑market strategies Lead product launches and empower sales teams with impactful marketing materials Requirements 5+ years experience in product marketing, preferably in audio/music tech Strong understanding of the US market and musicians’ needs Excellent communication and project management skills Fluent in English Italian is a plus Product Owner – Studio/Pro Audio Lead development and execution of marketing strategies for new products in the Studio/Pro Audio category Analyze market and product data to define user profiles and inform strategic decisions Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution Create, implement, and optimize go‑to‑market strategies and marketing assets for multiple products Monitor and report on performance metrics to evaluate success and identify areas for improvement Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience 5+ years experience in the studio and pro audio market, particularly in products for recording, creation, mixing, and mastering Proven expertise in product management, including strategy development and cross‑functional team coordination Strong understanding of music technology and pro audio equipment Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while staying organized and focused Genuine passion for music and a deep understanding of the musical instruments industry is a strong plus Collaborative, proactive, and results‑driven with a clear ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment Performance Marketing Specialist – US Execute and monitor ad campaigns for various IK products across Google Adwords, Merchant Center, Facebook for Business, Amazon AMS and other relevant advertising platforms Review, analyze, and optimize ad spending and performance to maximize returns Monitor and report on key performance marketing metrics, including conversion rates, cost per conversion, and return on ad spend Collaborate with a team of marketers, product owners, and product managers Qualifications & Requirements Degree in digital marketing or a related business field, or equivalent experience Ability to handle multiple projects at once is a must Knowledge of Google Ads, Google Merchant Center, Microsoft Advertising, Google Analytics, and/or social media advertising Competency using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to produce reports and presentations Google Ads/Analytics, Meta Business, and related certifications a plus Experience with Amazon Marketing Services is a big plus Experience in/knowledge of musical instruments and recording is a big plus Partner Marketing Specialist – US Build and maintain relationships with influencers, artists, app developers and other business partners Develop strategic partnerships to build awareness of IK Multimedia’s products and services Organize partner‑driven campaigns, events, and endorsements Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align partner feedback with product development Represent IK Multimedia at key industry events, for analysis and reporting on trends and results Analyze account performance and review with sales executives to create new programs Compile new product setup information and monitor reseller websites for accuracy Analyze remote inventory and compile forecasts & create shipments as needed Monitor and enforce MAP compliance with resellers Maintain marketing & promotional calendar and coordinate
