Key Responsibilities: Reading electrical drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
Performing quantity take-offs (counting cables, fixtures, conduits, switchgear, etc.).
Obtaining supplier quotations for materials and equipment.
Estimating labour costs using company standards or industry rates.
Preparing and updating cost estimates and bid documents.
Assisting with tender submissions and ensuring deadlines are met.
Maintaining databases of material prices and subcontractor costs.
Communicating with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Key Skills & Competencies Understanding of electrical systems and installation methods.
Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Proficiency with spreadsheets.
Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication and time management.
Previous Experience / Qualifications: 4 years working as an apprentice on site or good knowledge of the Electrical trade.
Internship or placement experience is often beneficial but not always required.

Salary depending on experience.
Position based in CJK head office.
Working Time 39 hours per week but this will vary on certain weeks dependant on tender deadlines. xyswxtq
Possible requirement for additional evening coursework to develop competencies after 6 months.
