Description
Comfortable working with live birds. Maintain proper bird handling. Adhere to Company, Safety, and Animal Welfare policies and procedures. All other relevant duties as assigned.
Requirements
Previous hatchery experience preferred. Able to lift 10+ lbs, and push 75+ lbs. Work well in a small team environment.
Physical Requirements
- Typical office environment within a hatchery utilizing computers, telephones and other office equipment.
- Occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
- Subject to dusty and hot environments.
- Exposure to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production lines.
- Frequently stand 8+ hours.
- Regularly exposed to heat conditions of 99.5 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Work around raw, live animal odors.
