Pertemps is currently recruiting for a reliable and motivated
Stores Operative
to join a busy and well-established operation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous warehouse or stores experience who is looking for a long-term, ongoing role within a supportive and professional working environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the stores department, supporting the movement, control, and accurate recording of stock while maintaining high standards of organisation and efficiency. Key Responsibilities
Receiving, checking, and processing incoming deliveries Managing goods-in and goods-out activities accurately and efficiently Moving stock safely around the warehouse and stores areas using pallet trucks Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch Maintaining accurate stock records and inventory levels Using CRM and stock management systems to log products and stock movements Updating records and reports using Microsoft Office applications Conducting routine stock checks and assisting with inventory control Ensuring all work is carried out in line with company procedures and health and safety requirements Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient stores environment Skills and Experience Required
Previous experience working within a stores, warehouse, logistics, or stock control environment Strong knowledge of goods-in and goods-out procedures Experience using pallet trucks Confident computer user with experience of CRM, stock management, or warehouse management systems Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling stock and completing documentation Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively under pressure Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team What's on Offer?
