Duration: 6+ months contract with long term extension

Key Responsibilities
Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for large-scale data analysis
Identify data anomalies, inconsistencies, and quality issues across datasets
Transform raw data into meaningful, actionable insights for business users
Support modernization efforts of legacy analytics/reporting platforms
Contribute to migration initiatives from legacy big data frameworks to modern cloud-based query engines
Improve query performance and scalability across large datasets
Build automation to streamline reporting and analytics workflows
Support basic engineering tasks such as running and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Required Qualifications
Strong SQL expertise, including performance tuning and working with large datasets
Experience with cloud-based data platforms and analytics environments
Hands‑on experience with large-scale data (big data ecosystems or distributed query engines)
Strong analytical mindset with ability to detect data anomalies and inconsistencies
Experience translating data into business insights
Preferred Qualifications
Experience within a cloud ecosystem (e.g., serverless query tools, relational databases)
Familiarity with services such as object storage, serverless compute, and workflow automation
Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins or similar)
Background in analytics platform modernization or migration initiatives
Blend of analytics and light software engineering/automation skills
