They are currently seeking to recruit a Financial Controller to join our multi-site team.
Reporting to the Firms Board of Directors and managing the finance team and day to day finance operations, this role will provide the successful candidate with opportunities to play an integral role in managing and developing the finance function, providing strategic finance advice to stakeholders and supporting the integration of future acquisitions.
Responsibilities: Timely and accurate preparation of monthly Management Accounts Ownership of all finance activities within the business to include cash flow management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed asset register, taxes etc.
Continuous reviewing of finance processes, systems and procedures to drive improvements in outputs, productivity and quality of information produced.
Managing, leading and developing the finance team Ensuring all statutory returns are submitted accurately within deadlines Managing annual audit and preparation of statutory audited accounts Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis Working closely with senior management team on any projects such as integration of new entities, supporting due diligence and engaging with banking partners.
Overseeing internal monthly payroll process.
Providing financial analysis as required to support business units and to assist decision making.
Fostering a strong working relationship with MKS and leveraging their knowledge to the benefit of the business and our finance function.
Requirements: A qualified accountant with minimum of 8 years PQE Previous industry experience within a professional services environment (Law firm, Accounting practice etc..
i.e..
partner led firm) An effective and capable team player with strong communications and influencing skills Proactive and self-motivated in approach with a demonstrable and real interest in joining a very professional and faced paced team A track record in providing high quality financial information Excellent technical, IT and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills The potential to effectively lead and develop a professional team Salary & Benefits Competitive salary €90,000
