About The Role: Carrier is seeking a technical lead for the development and deployment of Data Analytics technologies and toolset across Carrier. Our global Engineering team is advancing to maintain Carrier’s lead position in the market through investments in advanced research, technologies and methods that will shape the future of our products and services. Key Responsibilities: As a data analytics lead you will (i) Lead the development/deployment of diagnostics, machine learning, artificial intelligence and model-based data analytics technology, methods, and toolset. (ii) Develop and execute the overall model-based data analytics strategy & roadmap, provide support and guidance to various technical teams, and approve common work practices.
Basic Qualifications:
Master’s degree or Ph.D. in technical field, with 8+ years of data analytics experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Solid background in model-based methods, artificial intelligence & machine learning techniques, system controls and cloud-based computing
Experience in data processing, simulation based on physics based and data driven models and development of reduce order models.
Hands-on experience in several software programming techniques (including Python), machine learning libraries (including scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch)
Extensive experience in statistical analysis (including uncertainty analysis), signals processing, machine learning algorithms (classification, regression forecasting, clustering) and AI techniques (probabilistic reasoning, natural language processing, image processing)
Experience in cloud computing (AWS and Azure) and edge analytics
Experience in Agile methodology for software development and modeling.
Application experience in HVAC and Refrigerating product preferred
Experience in development and deployment of end-to-end analytics solution in digital platforms for aftermarket or sales or new product development
8+ years of experience in leading teams working on data analytics technology projects.
