Job Description Job Summary: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides basic medical care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician. The LPN is responsible for monitoring patient health, administering medications, and supporting daily patient care activities. Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in accordance with the care plan. Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately and safely. Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and patient progress. Assist physicians and RNs with procedures and examinations. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed. Support patients with daily activities, including hygiene, mobility, and comfort.
