This role is designed for a highly motivated sales professional with a true hunter mentality who excels at identifying prospects, opening new doors, and converting opportunities into long‑term customers.The primary responsibility is to generate and close new business opportunities by proactively prospecting, qualifying leads, and guiding potential customers through the sales process. This role does not manage or retain existing accounts. Once a new customer is secured, the account transitions to the appropriate internal team for ongoing support and account management.Success in this role is measured by new customer logos acquired, new revenue generated, and pipeline creation. The New Business Development Executive leverages CRM tools, data insights, and disciplined prospecting strategies to build a consistent pipeline and drive predictable growth.This role requires curiosity, resilience, persistence, and strong business acumen to uncover customer challenges and deliver value‑driven solutions that create win‑win outcomes for both the customer and Ascentek.ESSENTIAL DUTIES And RESPONSIBILITIES Identify and pursue net‑new business opportunities through cold outreach, prospecting, referrals, networking, and market researchConsistently generate a strong pipeline of qualified prospects to support revenue targetsConduct discovery conversations to uncover customer needs, operational challenges, and opportunities for value creationDeliver persuasive, solution‑based proposals that communicate Ascentek's value and total cost of ownership advantagesLead the full new business sales cycle from initial outreach through negotiation and closeMaintain disciplined pipeline management and activity tracking in Salesforce CRMUse sales data and performance metrics to prioritize prospects and drive resultsCollaborate cross‑functionally with internal teams to ensure alignment on pricing, fulfillment, and onboarding for newly acquired customersMonitor market conditions, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities to inform sales strategyRepresent Ascentek professionally during prospect meetings, industry events, and trade showsMaintain consistent prospecting cadence and follow‑up discipline to advance opportunitiesParticipate in ongoing training to strengthen sales techniques, product knowledge, and industry expertiseModel Ascentek's core values through accountability, integrity, and a relentless focus on resultsContribute to company culture through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvementEducation Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experienceExperience And/or Training 3–5 years of new business development or hunter‑style sales experienceProven ability to prospect, build pipeline, and close new customersExperience with CRM systems, preferably SalesforceKnowledge, Skills, And Abilities Strong prospecting and cold outreach disciplineExceptional communication and relationship‑building skills with the ability to influence decision‑makersProven ability to identify opportunities and close complex salesHighly organized with strong pipeline management habitsAnalytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and prioritize opportunitiesResilient, competitive, and self‑motivated with a strong drive to win new businessAbility to operate independently while collaborating effectively with internal teamsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables and data analysisLubricant coursework and/or certifications preferred; Training on heavy‑duty and technical skills will be providedFamiliarity with technical or solution‑based sellingAbility to manage multi‑location or enterprise‑level accountsPhysical, Mental, Environmental Demands Frequent, sitting, talking, hearing and use of hands to handle objects, tools or controlsOccasional standing, walking and travel to customer sites, trade shows and eventsAbility to lift and move items up to 10 pounds such as laptops or sample materialsWork primarily performed in a remote environment with moderate noise levelsFrequent travel to customer sites, tradeshows, and events in assigned regionRole The anticipated hiring range for the role you are applying for is between $70,000 and $80,000 annually.
