*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of general dentistry practices, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence. As an integral member of our dental clinic, you will perform a wide range of dental procedures, collaborate with team members, and ensure patient satisfaction through thorough assessments and effective treatment planning. *Responsibilities*
* Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using medical and dental terminology.
* Provide a broad spectrum of dental treatments such as restorations, root canal therapy, extractions, prosthodontics, and endodontics, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
* Utilize dental imaging technology and anatomical knowledge to accurately diagnose oral health issues and develop effective treatment plans.
* Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure proper documentation of procedures and patient interactions.
* Collaborate with the dental team to deliver four-handed dentistry for efficient patient care and optimal clinical outcomes.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options tailored to pediatric dentistry when applicable.
* Ensure compliance with all safety standards, including infection control measures and HIPAA privacy regulations, while managing medical documentation efficiently.
* Stay current with advances in general dentistry, dental fabrication techniques, and relevant medical terminology to provide the highest quality care.
*Skills*
* Proficiency in using dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Curve or Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and billing purposes.
* Extensive knowledge of general dentistry principles, oral surgery procedures, and endodontic treatments including root canal therapy.
* Strong understanding of infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and medical imaging procedures within a dental setting.
* Ability to perform dental extractions, prosthodontic procedures, and other complex restorative treatments confidently.
* Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs thoroughly and communicate treatment plans clearly.
* Familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical records management in compliance with HIPAA standards.

Pay: $81,715.56 - $98,410.14 per year
