*Job Summary*
We are currently seeking a traveling/float RN MDS Coordinator to support multiple facilities throughout the Northern Indiana region. This position is ideal for an experienced RN with strong MDS, clinical compliance, and long-term care knowledge who is flexible and willing to travel where support is needed.
This role may require overnight travel to assist with open positions, vacations, or high-volume periods.

*Responsibilities*
* Coordinate and assist with completion and submission of accurate and timely MDS Assessments, CAAs, and Care Plans
* Ensure compliance with CMS RAI Manual Regulations
* Report changes in patient condition identified during MDS review to the DON
* Educate direct care staff on documentation and regulatory updates
* Review Final Validation Reports and confirm assessments are accepted into the CMS QIES system prior to billing
* Notify Business Office when assessments are not ready to bill
* Review CMS reports for late or missed assessments and assist with prevention strategies
* Participate in Daily PPS Meetings, Monthly Triple Check, and other meetings as requested
* Perform staff nurse duties as needed
* Support positive patient outcomes and excellent customer service
*Qualifications*
* Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university
* Current, active RN license in applicable state and in good standing
* Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
* Geriatric nursing experience preferred
* CRN C Certification (Clinical Compliance) required
* CPR certification required upon hire or during orientation
*Preferred Skills*
* Strong knowledge of MDS processes and clinical compliance
* Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
* Knowledge of post-acute care regulations and documentation standards
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
*Physical Requirements*
* Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, and reach throughout the workday
* Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
* Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
*Travel Requirements*
* Must be able to travel to various facilities throughout the Missouri region
* Overnight stays may be required
