This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in coordinating Environmental Impact Assessment Reports, Appropriate Assessments, and planning application documentation for a diverse portfolio of renewable energy projects.
Location: Hybrid working model with a preference for full or part-time office attendance in Adare Co.
Limerick.
The Opportunity The Project Development Team is responsible for advancing and maximising the value of a strong pipeline of renewable energy developments.
With continued growth and an established project portfolio, we are seeking talented and passionate individuals to join a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities Support the Senior Project Management Team in the day-to-day management of a significant portfolio of renewable energy projects.
Plan, schedule and coordinate all phases of ecological project work, ensuring resources and budgets are in place to deliver projects on time.
Review technical documentation, particularly in Ecology, Hydrology and Hydrogeology, to ensure high-quality outputs.
Identify and escalate issues proactively while maintaining a solution-oriented approach and strong attention to detail.
Liaise with external consultants, statutory bodies, local authorities and An Coimisin Pleanla.
Contribute effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will possess: A degree and/or postgraduate qualification in Environmental Science, Natural Sciences or a related discipline.
Experience in an ecology-related role, including the design, coordination or delivery of field surveys.
A strong understanding of ecological assessment and environmental legislation in Ireland, including the Habitats and Birds Directives.
Proven experience delivering complex projects and engaging effectively with clients and stakeholders, ideally within the renewable energy sector.
Knowledge of Environmental Impact Assessment Reporting for wind and solar projects (advantageous).
Familiarity with the planning and consenting process for renewable energy developments (beneficial).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
A full, clean driving licence.
