This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to play a key role in delivering a high-profile project from the ground up.
As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support, overseeing daily site operations, and ensuring all works are carried out safely, accurately, and in line with design specifications.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities Site Operations Management Coordinate and oversee day-to-day site activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Technical Interpretation Read, interpret, and implement project drawings, designs, and specifications.
Setting Out Accurately set out the site, including structures, drainage, utilities, and levels.
Surveying & Quality Control Conduct site surveys, level checks, and inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance.
Stakeholder Coordination Work closely with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues.
Documentation Management Prepare and maintain accurate site records, reports, and drawings.
Health & Safety Compliance Ensure all site activities adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Risk & Issue Resolution Identify potential delays or risks and propose effective solutions to maintain programme and budget targets.
Experience & Requirements Site Engineering Experience Proven experience as a Site Engineer on construction projects.
Equipment Proficiency Ability to use all standard site engineering equipment (GPS, total station, levels, etc.).
Setting Out Skills Strong competency in setting out and surveying.
Technical Knowledge Solid understanding of construction processes, drawings, and specifications.
Communication Skills Ability to communicate clearly with site teams and stakeholders.
Problem-Solving Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues on site. xyswxtq
Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or a related field are desirable.
