- Up to €60,000 (DoE) Full / Time Permanent We are proud to partner with our client, a leading organisation within the manufacturing & production sector, to recruit an experienced EHS Manager.
The Successful Candidate Will Have 3+ years EHS experience in manufacturing, heavy industry or similar environment Relevant qualification in EHS, Environmental Science, Engieering or related field Strong knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation Experience managing environmental and regulatory compliance in an industrial setting Proven track record in risk assessment, incident investigation, and corrective actions Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels Hands-on, practical approach with a focus on continuous improvement Responsibilities & Duties Develop, implement and maintain the site EHS management system Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety and environmental legislation and permits Conduct risk assessments and ensure effective control measures are in place Lead incident, accident and near-miss investigations, ensuring corrective actions are completed Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, training and ongoing safety engagement initiatives Oversee contractor safety management and permit-to-work systems Monitor workplace safety performance through audits, inspections and KPI reporting Maintain accurate EHS documentation, records and statutory reporting requirements Liaise with regulatory bodies and support external inspections and audits Support environmental monitoring activities including emissions, waste and water management Drive sustainability, waste reduction and continuous improvement initiatives Work closely with xyswxtq production and maintenance teams to improve safety and operational performance Promote safe systems of work and ensure compliance across all site activities Produce regular EHS reports and communicate key updates to senior management All applications will be dealt with in the strictest confidence and your CV will never be released without your prior approval.
