This position is contingent upon award of a government contract.
Position Summary
The Senior SQL Server Database Administrator will administer and support SQL Server environments supporting SharePoint, enterprise business applications, reporting platforms, and cloud-hosted systems.
Responsibilities
Administer SQL Server clustered and standalone environments.
Configure backups, recovery, failover clustering, and disaster recovery.
Perform database performance tuning and optimization.
Support application deployments and database releases.
Develop and maintain T-SQL scripts and stored procedures.
Manage SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS environments.
Monitor database health and security.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
5+ years SQL Server DBA experience.
Experience with SQL Server 2016/2019/2022, Windows Server environments, SQL clustering and failover, backup/recovery operations, SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS.
Strong T-SQL development experience.
Database performance tuning expertise.
Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft SQL certifications.
Azure SQL experience.
MySQL administration experience.
