The Diesel Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy-duty truck engines and related diesel systems. Working as part of a skilled technician team, the role focuses on ensuring optimal vehicle performance through detailed inspections, diagnostic evaluations, and preventive maintenance, utilizing advanced diagnostic equipment. This position operates during regular daytime hours without travel requirements. Responsibilities Perform engine maintenance and diesel repairs on heavy-duty trucks Inspect equipment to identify potential issues Conduct diagnostics using advanced tools and techniques Repair and maintain fuel systems and injection components Remove, Repair, and Replace transmission and drive line components Implement preventive maintenance schedules Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of experience in diesel mechanics Technical certificate in diesel technology Valid driver's license Knowledge of diesel engine repair and transmissions Familiarity with hydraulic systems and mechanical diagnostics Experience in preventive maintenance practices
