Role Description This is a part‑time, on‑site Sales Manager role based in Evanston, IL. The Sales Manager will drive membership growth by managing the full sales cycle, including prospecting, lead follow‑up, studio tours, and closing new clients. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include maintaining accurate lead and member records, monitoring sales metrics, and executing outreach campaigns via phone, email, and in‑studio interactions. The role collaborates closely with studio leadership and instructors to support promotional events, community partnerships, and special offers that increase client engagement and retention. The Sales Manager will also help ensure a welcoming studio environment, uphold brand standards, and provide exceptional service to prospects and current members.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in sales, membership or subscription‑based selling, and meeting or exceeding revenue and conversion targets.
Strong customer service and client relationship skills, with the ability to build rapport, handle objections, and provide a positive studio experience.
Proficiency with CRM or lead management tools, basic data entry, and tracking of sales activities and performance metrics.
Clear and professional communication skills, including in‑person, phone, and email; ability to present offerings and explain membership options confidently.
Interest in fitness, wellness, or boutique studio environments, with the ability to represent the Pure Barre brand and culture authentically.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple leads and follow‑ups.
Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and special events as needed.
Prior sales or front desk experience in fitness, retail, or hospitality is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required, additional education in business or marketing is a plus.
