Must have eight or more years of professional mechanical engineering experience as well as an electrical engineering or mechanical engineering degree to be considered

Must have two years of design experience with both drives and rotating equipment like motors

Pay up to $170,000

This position could grow to the head of the engineering group and/or take over for the VP of Manufacturing. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate should include the following:

• Functioning as a leader for a small team of mechanical engineers and electrical engineers
• Performing modifications to fit customer applications in AutoCAD
• Assisting in the redesigning or modifying of controls
• Diagnosing and solving mechanical and electrical problems
• Creating electrical and mechanical designs

The background of the successful candidate must include the following to be considered for this position:

• A mechanical engineering degree or an electrical engineering degree
• Eight or more years of professional mechanical engineering experience
• Two or more years of design experience with rotating equipment like motors
• Two or more years of design experience with Variable Speed Drives
• Two or more years of leading a team of engineers
• Possess an understanding of variable speed drives and electrical motors
• Possess a solid work history
• Being a US citizen or green card holder
• Having a residence within a 45 minute drive
