The Assistant Clinic Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of physician practice services department clinics and the direct supervision and management of clinical supervisors. Key responsibilities include overseeing daily operations of assigned clinics to ensure efficient workflows, quality patient care, and optimal scheduling. The role also involves leading, developing, and supporting clinic staff, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and coaching. Additionally, the position requires collaboration with leadership, providers, and staff to address operational needs and improve clinic performance. Financial performance monitoring, including budgeting, billing trends, and expense management, is also part of the role. Compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies is essential. The Assistant Clinic Operations Manager is responsible for analyzing operational data and leading process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and patient experience.
Qualifications include an associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, nursing, or related field, or a minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated clinic or medical practice management experience. Multispecialty and multi-site practice experience is preferred, along with familiarity with Epic. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is also preferred.
