The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the HVAC industry, including the intricacies of system design, component selection, and performance optimization. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
**Key Responsibilities:*** + **Design and develop innovative HVAC systems, focusing on sustainability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.**
+ Select appropriate components, including fans, heat exchangers, and compressors, to meet design specifications and performance requirements.
+ Analyze refrigeration cycle performance to ensure optimal efficiency and reliability of HVAC systems.
+ Awareness of electrical diagrams and control systems.
+ Stay familiar with industry trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure designs are cutting-edge and compliant.
+ Work closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver solutions that exceed their expectations.
+ Participate in product testing **Qualifications:*** + Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or a related field.
+ **Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HVAC system design and engineering.**
+ Profound understanding of the refrigeration cycle, component functionality, and system performance optimization.
+ Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and control systems.
+ **Familiarity with various types of compressors, fans, heat exchangers, coils, and valves in HVAC systems.**
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead projects from concept to completion.
+ Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
+ Experience with complex assemblies of many parts.
+ HVAC industry experience in a manufacturer. **Desired Skills:*** + General knowledge of CAD
+ Large commercial, chiller, or industrial refrigeration design experience
+ Product testing and troubleshooting
