About
Position Summary: Magnetech Industrial Services is seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to develop new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing customers throughout Northeast Ohio and surrounding territories. This role is responsible for promoting the company's electric motor repair, predictive maintenance, field services, machining, and industrial repair solutions to manufacturing, industrial, utility, and commercial customers.
The ideal candidate will have experience selling industrial services, electrical equipment, motors, drives, or maintenance solutions and possess strong relationship‑building and consultative sales skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies to generate new business and expand existing customer accounts.
Identify and pursue opportunities within manufacturing plants, municipalities, utilities, OEMs, and industrial facilities.
Promote Magnetech's capabilities, including:
Electric motor repair and rewind services
AC/DC motor testing and diagnostics
Predictive and preventive maintenance programs
Field service and emergency repair services
Vibration analysis and condition monitoring
Industrial equipment repair and machining services
Conduct customer visits, plant tours, and sales presentations.
Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and service agreements.
Collaborate with operations and technical teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
Maintain regular contact with existing customers to strengthen relationships and identify additional service opportunities.
Track sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions within the company's CRM system.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities as needed.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
Required:
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience in an industrial, manufacturing, electrical, or service‑related environment.
Strong understanding of consultative selling techniques.
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
Ability to travel regularly throughout assigned territory.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.
Experience selling electric motors, drives, pumps, industrial repair services, maintenance services, or electrical equipment.
Knowledge of industrial manufacturing operations and maintenance processes.
Experience using CRM software.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
Ability to understand technical products and services and communicate their value to customers.
Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities simultaneously.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to travel extensively throughout the territory.
Ability to walk through manufacturing and industrial facilities.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
Ability to sit, stand, drive, and use a computer for extended periods.
