$35.00–$45.00 per hour About the Role
This position requires a minimum of five years’ experience, of which at least three must be specialized. Specialized experience includes knowledge of PC operating systems, e.g., DOS, Windows, networking, mail standards, and Field Operations work. General experience includes information systems development or related client/server work. Successful candidates demonstrate clear oral and written communication skills and a positive customer‑service attitude. What You'll Be Doing
Provides phone and in‑person support to users in the areas of e‑mail, directories, standard Windows desktop applications, and applications developed under this contract or predecessors. Serves as the Tier 2 point of contact for troubleshooting hardware/software PC and printer problems. Manages a queue of open incident and request tickets, prioritizing based on impact and urgency to fulfill or restore service within performance requirements. What We're Looking For
MUST HOLD AN ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE MUST HAVE CompTIA Security+ certification An associate degree in one of the following areas: computer science/systems, information systems/technology, engineering/engineering technology, software engineering/programming, management, natural sciences, social sciences, mathematics, business/finance, or an applicable training certificate from an accredited institution. Education and experience requirements may be substituted with:
A bachelor’s degree (in one of the above subjects) and four years general experience, of which at least two years must be specialized experience. No degree and eight years general experience, of which at least six years is specialized experience.
