Job Description: Seeking a Mechanical QA professional to support construction and commissioning activities primarily on night shift for one of our largest clients in the DC Metro area. This role will focus on ensuring mechanical systems are installed, tested, and documented in compliance with project specifications, codes, and contract requirements.
Must Have: Reviewing submittals and drawings for compliance with project requirements Supporting commissioning activities including pre-functional checklists (PFCs) and functional performance testing (FPTs) Validating system performance across HVAC and plumbing systems, including chilled water and boiler systems Coordinating documentation and verification of mechanical system installation and testing Supporting turnover and closeout documentation during commissioning phases This is a 100% hands-off role with no manual labor involved.
