As an early engineer at Angle, you will be critical to the development and launch of several projects that will impact our members and internal teams. You are an engineer with Python backend development experience and React frontend experience. You're a mission-driven self-starter who's passionate about building APIs, designing UIs, and innovating on algorithms. As a software engineer, you will be involved in and expected to eventually own the full product lifecycle from ideation to systems design to execution. You'll also collaborate closely with customers and non-technical counterparts to better understand customers' problems.
Core Responsibilities
Build high-performing customer facing and internal products
Design and build delightful and innovative products that will be used by a wide variety of users
Write quality, performant, well-tested code in Python and React
Drive technical projects from conception to launch, including architecture, design, implementation, testing, and deployment
Additionally, you
Will work directly with the Head of Engineering to set the standard of high quality products
Are an independent working and self-starter
Seek to understand the business strategy and needs of our users
What we value
4+ years of fullstack engineering experience
Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as React JS (preferred), TypeScript
Experience with Figma or similar design tools
Experience writing automated tests (unit tests, integration tests)
Proficiency with server-side languages such as Python
Experience in deploying and maintaining enterprise-scale applications in production
Familiar with building user-facing UIs
Excellent communication skills across teams
Strong foundation in designing and building web applications
The salary range for this job opportunity is $100,000 to $200,000 per year, which is the amount Angle Health anticipates paying for this position at the time of this job posting. The actual base salary offered may differ and will depend on various factors such as geographic location, skills, qualifications, and experience, as well as internal equity.
